Alright people. Stop giving River shit. She can't help what's going on and you didn't flip the fuck out about other people like you are at her. She's dealing with a lot more right now then what you have to by her telling stupid little secrets.

Look, with the whole River saying stuff, if you just ignore it then it'll be better. Stop attacking her for something she can't control. She's in a lot of pain and like always, this place isn't making it easier it's making it worse. Just ignore it and it'll pass.

It's understandable that she has no control over her powers at the moment, but was it necessary to reveal random people's secrets over the network? At the very least, she could have just mumbled them to herself. No matter how "small and stupid" they are, secrets are still secrets.

Also speaking as someone affected, I would say that when some things are made public, it can be extremely difficult to think rationally about it.

It's not fair to her, but it's hardly fair to anyone else, either.

Someone sucked out my best friend's soul and they made less of a thing about it. This is just words. If you ignore them then people aren't going to make anything of them. We've all got shit going on in our past and in our homes. It's not like it's something new.

While that isn't disagreeable, there are ways of avoiding secrets being leaked out despite the difficulty of this device. I admire you for standing up for your friend, but I cannot help but sympathize with those who are angry with her as well. The things she revealed were not 'user friendly' either.

I am, however, saying that being judgmental in asking people to stop is making things no better. And I don't think it's anyone's place here to place judgment on the severity of anyone else's "shit going on." The fact that it's commonplace does not, for many, make it any less difficult to cope with.

Again, though your defense for her is admirable, you can't blame those who are reacting badly to the situation. To wake up one morning and find their deepest, darkest secrets out in the open all of a sudden by a woman they barely know and lash out, is an understatement.

And those kinds of feelings go both ways.
