I just realized. I've got a huge assed sword and nothing to do with it.

Kind of want to cut some meat with it. I think he'd yell. I think it'd be kind of hot.

[There's a girl with horns sipping out of her gourd]

[Sad thing is that's not the weirdest thing she's seen all her life anymore.]

Are you River's baby?

[identity profile] piskiestix.livejournal.com 2009-11-17 12:40 am (UTC)(link)
I guess that's a no. Who are you then?

[identity profile] oni-pandemonium.livejournal.com 2009-11-17 12:45 am (UTC)(link)
Suika Ibuki, oni deva of the mountain!

[identity profile] piskiestix.livejournal.com 2009-11-17 12:54 am (UTC)(link)
So you're a sort of faerie?

[identity profile] oni-pandemonium.livejournal.com 2009-11-17 01:06 am (UTC)(link)
What? No!

We're like...what's the word..."ogres"?

[identity profile] piskiestix.livejournal.com 2009-11-17 01:08 am (UTC)(link)
... that's a type of faerie.

[identity profile] oni-pandemonium.livejournal.com 2009-11-17 01:21 am (UTC)(link)
If anything, fairies are more like a type of youkai.

[identity profile] oni-pandemonium.livejournal.com 2009-11-17 01:25 am (UTC)(link)
[Westerners] The magical creatures of Japan!

[identity profile] piskiestix.livejournal.com 2009-11-17 01:38 am (UTC)(link)
So anything that's magical in Japan is called a youkai?

[identity profile] oni-pandemonium.livejournal.com 2009-11-17 04:50 am (UTC)(link)
Well, not everything. There's gods, and spirits, and ghosts, and demons, and magicians and shrine maidens that are human.

[identity profile] piskiestix.livejournal.com 2009-11-17 04:53 am (UTC)(link)
Right. I think faerie is used for a different sort of group.

[identity profile] oni-pandemonium.livejournal.com 2009-11-17 05:40 am (UTC)(link)
Same with youkai.

The things we call fairies are called "yousei" in Japanese, but I'm pretty sure they're what most Westerners think of as fairies.

[identity profile] piskiestix.livejournal.com 2009-11-17 06:04 am (UTC)(link)
Kaye. And you're Suika?

[identity profile] piskiestix.livejournal.com 2009-11-17 06:47 am (UTC)(link)
[Blinks ... then takes a swig. It wasn't half bad. Kind of plumby?]

[identity profile] piskiestix.livejournal.com 2009-11-17 02:55 am (UTC)(link)
Right, thanks ... or something.

[identity profile] foundhermiracle.livejournal.com 2009-11-17 04:19 am (UTC)(link)
Ah- be careful with that...

[identity profile] foundhermiracle.livejournal.com 2009-11-17 04:33 am (UTC)(link)
...

I'm sorry. But have we met?

[identity profile] piskiestix.livejournal.com 2009-11-17 04:35 am (UTC)(link)
Sorry. You look like someone. Older, but otherwise pretty close.

[identity profile] piskiestix.livejournal.com 2009-11-17 04:45 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah.

What's your last name?

[identity profile] foundhermiracle.livejournal.com 2009-11-17 04:46 am (UTC)(link)
What a coincidence.

Furude. Furude Rika.

[identity profile] piskiestix.livejournal.com 2009-11-17 04:47 am (UTC)(link)
Do you have a younger sister or something?

[identity profile] foundhermiracle.livejournal.com 2009-11-17 04:49 am (UTC)(link)
Uh... no. I'm an only child.

[identity profile] piskiestix.livejournal.com 2009-11-17 04:51 am (UTC)(link)
Weird. Then you have to be the same Rika, but a different one.

You're not from Discedo right?

[identity profile] foundhermiracle.livejournal.com 2009-11-17 04:58 am (UTC)(link)
The same but different?

I'm not. This is the first time I've been here.

[identity profile] piskiestix.livejournal.com 2009-11-17 05:18 am (UTC)(link)
That explains it. We have a Rika here. She's you, just younger, and in Discedo. And dating Cecile.

[identity profile] foundhermiracle.livejournal.com 2009-11-17 05:32 am (UTC)(link)
...uhm. I don't remember dating anyone when I was smaller.

[identity profile] piskiestix.livejournal.com 2009-11-17 05:36 am (UTC)(link)
You wouldn't. You forget all about this place when you leave. At least that's what I was told.

[identity profile] piskiestix.livejournal.com 2009-11-17 05:48 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah. It is.

It's weird. You start to worry about the people you have here and then you stop wanting to go home as much. Because you don't want to lose them.
