{With Kaye out of harms way he gave another hard thrust of his knife into the creature. In turn it recoiled, unlatching itself from where it'd tangled around his torso and limbs. Perfect timing on Yuri's part, had the thing pulled from him so he could kick quickly to the surface.
He broke through and gasped, taking a deep gulp of fresh air. He shook his head clear, spraying droplets and trying to fight through the dizzy sensation from lack of oxygen. It was then that Kaye came back to the fray, sword in hand.}

{With that he dove back under to go assist the man in finishing the beast off.Maybe it was edible?}
[Yuri was fighting for his life now, running low on air and still bruised and healing from his fight with Haru. Still, he wasn't exactly not hurting the thing, tearing into it with the spiked knuckles on his fists.
He broke through the surface once when the beast loosened its grip, regaining air and saw Kaye and Ace coming to his aid. He gasped, trying to drag it to shallower waters with some level of success. Even chipped and recovering from some nasty wounds, Yuri was a force to be reckoned with.]
[Kaye stormed back into the water and did her best to stab at the creature. She wasn't skilled with a sword so she mostly took blind jabs like she was trying to skewer meat. She was careful not to hit Yuri though. That would have been bad.]
{Collective stabbing and beating of the creature once it was in shallow waters would no doubt do the trick. Ace had even forgotten the fact that Kaye was naked. Give it time though, once the thing was dead and all three were out of harms way, he'd probably take notice once more. You'd get to see him turn several shades of red while trying to keep his eyes averted. He was a gentleman after all, even if he'd seen it all before (Not on Kaye of course).}
[It wasn't long before their combined efforts paid off. With disgust, Yuri pried a limp tentacle from his shoulder, and sank into the frigid water trying to breathe. He was pale and his lips were turning blue, and he was more than ready to go home and just sleep until every broken bone in his body would have a chance to heal.

It'd hit him soon that he was exhausted, freezing and soggy. His lips were purple-blue and he was trembling both with the excitement and cold.
He prodded the thing with a boot-clad toe, tilting his head at it.}
Not sure. {He knelt by the thing and began to cut it apart, taking what he thought could be edible and dividing it into chunks for them to share.}
